How to add a page to your website

  1. Login to your site at http://login.webpiston.com.

  2. Click on "Add A Page Assistant"



  3. You are going to want to start a new page, so enter in the name of the page in the page name box and click the "Create Page" button. In this example, the new page is called newpage.html.



  4. On the next page, you will be adding the keywords, page title and link name. The most important item here is the link name. That is what is going to show up on your site as a link for people to click to access the page.



  5. The next page will show you where the new page will go on the left side of your site. Click the "Next" button at the top right of the page. You might have to scroll over to the right to see this button.

  6. Now we will add some text to the page. Click the "Add A Paragraph" button.



  7. The next screen will ask if you want an image for the paragraph. Click "Left Image", "Right Image" or "No Image".

  8. The next page will allow you to add a heading to your paragraph and then to add the text.



  9. The next page is where you add your picture to the paragraph. You can select one of the pictures that are there already or you can upload your own by clicking the "Upload" link at the top left of the page.



  10.   Then click the "Browse" button to browse your computer for your picture. Then click the "Upload" button when you have found your picture. Then click "Select This Image".



  11.   The next page there will be a preview of your page. You can resize the image by clicking the drop-down list at the top right of the page.



  12.   You will then go back to the paragraph manager page. You can now add more paragraphs or if you wish you can add images by clicking on "Add An Image" or "Add A Photo Album" at the bottom of the page.

  13.   From here you can add more paragraphs and images. When you are finished, click the "Next" button and you will see a preview of your page again.

  14.   In the future when you want to edit these pages, after you login to your site, click on "Add A Page Assistant".
