How to create a links page for your site

  1. Login to your site at http://login.webpiston.com.

  2. Click on "Add A Page Assistant".



  3. You are going to want to start a new page, so enter in the name of the page in the page name box and click on the "Create Page" button. For this case, you probably want to name the page links.html or something similar.



  4. On the next page, you will be adding the keywords, page title and link name. The most important item here is the link name. That is what is going to show up on your site as a link for people to click to access the page.

  5. The next page will give you a preview of the site. Click on the "Next" button at the top right of the page.

  6. Click the "Add A Paragraph" button.



  7. Select if you would like an image on the page and click the "Next" button.

  8. On the next page, for the heading you can put the name of the company. For example, if you are making a link to Ebay, put in Ebay. In the main content box, put in a little description and then type in the web address.

  9. The next step is to highlight the www.ebay.com with your mouse and then click the "Insert Web Link" icon.



  10.   In the small window that opens, select the "New Window (_blank)" option. This will make the link open in a new window and will keep your website open. Then click the "OK" button and then click "Next".



  11.   You will then see a preview of the page. Click the "Continue" button at the top right of the page.

  12.   If you want to add more links, go back to step #6 and repeat to add more links. If you are finished adding links, click the "Next" button.

  13.   You will see another preview of the page. Click the "Continue" button at the top right of the page.

  14.   Then click either the "Publish Changes" or the "Finish" button.
